Position: Demand Planner

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of relevant experience in demand planning, inventory planning, replenishment or supply chain analysis, preferably within a trading, distribution, retail or consumer products company.

This is a hands-on role involving sales forecasting, purchase planning, inventory monitoring, stock replenishment, shipment tracking and reporting.

Strong practical Microsoft Excel skills and previous experience working with Excel-based inventory or planning reports are mandatory.

Roles & Responsibilities Demand Forecasting & Purchase Planning

• Analyze historical sales data and prepare monthly demand forecasts by SKU and brand.
• Calculate stock requirements based on sales trends, current inventory, incoming shipments and supplier lead times.
• Prepare monthly purchase and replenishment recommendations.
• Maintain and regularly update Excel-based forecasting and purchase planning reports.
• Coordinate with Brand Managers and Sales Teams to understand upcoming promotions, new listings and expected demand.

Inventory Planning & Monitoring

• Monitor stock levels, stock coverage and product availability.
• Identify potential stock shortages and recommend timely replenishment.
• Track slow-moving, ageing and excess inventory and highlight areas requiring action.
• Monitor incoming shipments and expected arrival dates to update inventory projections.
• Support maintaining optimal stock levels while minimizing overstocking and stockouts.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales, inventory and forecasting reports.
• Maintain accurate Excel-based inventory and planning trackers.
• Analyze SKU-level sales performance and inventory movements.
• Highlight inventory risks, forecast changes and replenishment requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and timely updates of all planning data and reports.

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with Brand Managers, Sales, Logistics and Warehouse teams.
• Coordinate on stock availability, incoming shipments and replenishment priorities.
• Follow up on inventory-related information required for planning and reporting.
• Support management with purchase planning and inventory analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in demand planning, inventory planning, replenishment or supply chain analysis. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience are preferred.
• Previous hands-on experience preparing and maintaining Excel-based inventory, sales or purchase planning reports is mandatory.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, formulas and data analysis, is essential.
• Good understanding of sales forecasting, stock coverage, inventory management and replenishment planning.
• Experience working with SKU-level sales and inventory data.
• Experience in trading, distribution, FMCG, retail or consumer products is preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to independently maintain reports, manage deadlines and coordinate with different teams.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Tally or inventory management systems is an advantage.
