Delivery Van Driver and Warehouse Manager

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Van Driver and Warehouse Manager to join our team. This dual-role position involves managing daily warehouse operations while ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, warehouse experience, and excellent organisational abilities to optimise logistics and inventory management. This role is ideal for someone who can be flexible in their working hours. Minimum 20 hours per week but able to work additional hours and weekend hours when required. Living near to the warehouse location would be a benefit as the nature of our business means we get last minute orders for collection from the unit from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vans to transport goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care during transit and storage
• Keeping the warehouse tidy / repairing furniture / cleaning etc.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of vehicles and warehouse equipment
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence suitable for operating company vehicles
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

This role is ideal for a motivated individual who combines driving expertise with operational management skills.
