# Debt Markets - Investment Grade Finance - Intern **BNP Paribas** · Madrid, Madrid provincia · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About the team BNP Paribas Debt Markets EMEA serves the bank's corporate and private equity clients by originating, structuring and executing debt capital markets (bonds) and loan capital markets (syndicated and acquisition/event-driven financing) transactions. The team applies a product-neutral approach, delivering holistic capital structure advice across the full debt continuum, and operates across a European platform including the UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Spain. The role Based in Madrid, the intern will support both local (Iberia) and pan-European activity, with exposure to both bond (DCM) and loan (LCM / acquisition finance) markets. The role spans the full transaction lifecycle — origination, credit process and execution — as well as broader support for the team's operational needs. Key responsibilities - Research, analyse and evaluate new credit proposals, producing clear summaries to support decision-making - Prepare credit committee papers and support the management of the credit and compliance workflow - Develop and update financial analysis and modelling for transactions and other business needs - Support DCM execution workstreams, including bond issuance timetables, roadshow materials and market update - Assist in monitoring primary bond market activity, pricing and comparable transactions to support origination and execution - Prepare marketing materials and pitches in cooperation with teams across the bank (Coverage, M&A, ECM, Syndicate), ensuring high quality and reliability - Support internal reporting and day-to-day administrative tasks IT: - IT literacy in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) Language: - Fluent in English and Spanish - Another European language would be beneficial Behavioural aspects: People: - Strong team player with cross cultural awareness - Willing to assume greater or new responsibilities (on the job / within the team) - Demonstrate clear motivation to get things done and achieve results within the constraints defined Conduct: - Strong capacity to support and foster a culture of good conduct - Demonstrate proactivity, transparency and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks - Consider the implications of his/her actions on colleagues, partners and clients before making decisions, and escalate issues to your manager when unsure.
