Databricks Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Azure Databricks Platform Engineer (5+ years) to augment our platform team and accelerate the enablement of new AI capabilities within Azure Databricks.

Key focus areas:

• Azure Databricks platform administration and operations
• Enabling AI features such as Model Serving, Vector Search, Lakebase, and MCP Server
• Azure infrastructure engineering (Networking, Private Endpoints, Storage, Key Vault, Entra ID, RBAC)
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Automation and scripting (Bash; PowerShell desirable)
• Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
• Enterprise security, governance, monitoring, and operational best practices
• Data platform technologies including Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse architectures
• AWS to Azure integration experience desirable
• AI/LLM platform experience highly regarded

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney NSW
