# Database Software Developer **Ensolum, LLC** · Remote · `Remote` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 7 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Request For Proposal: Environmental Data Management Platform Ensolum LLC is seeking an experienced senior full-stack developer or small development team to help design and build an Environmental Data Management Platform for environmental consulting operations. Project Overview: The platform will provide consultants with an organized view of projects to which they have been granted access, along with associated field activities, laboratory results, regulatory criteria, deadlines and deliverables required by regulatory agencies. It will initially focus on oil spill response workflows while establishing a flexible foundation that can support additional environmental services over time. Data will be organized hierarchically around clients, with each client containing one or more sub clients, each sub client containing a collection of projects and each project requiring one or many environmental services that occur at one or more sites. Each project will store associated field activities, laboratory results, and project deliverables, including reports, tables, photologs and GIS figures. This structure will provide a consistent way to organize environmental data and project work while maintaining clear relationships between the client, project, service(s), sites, and relevant project documents. The platform must ingest Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD) data received from a variety of laboratory sources, transform the data into a standardized format and load it into a custom, project specific template. Templates will provide functionality to compare analytical results against applicable regulatory criteria and flag potential exceedances for review. Pending approval and lab QC validation, the table, or updates to the table will be added as a project deliverable. The platform must provide standard data tables and customizable data tables and completed deliverables must be exportable as CSV and XLSX. The platform must be able to integrate directly with ArcGIS to obtain coordinates and associated metadata for point, line, and polygon features collected through Field Maps. This integration will enable laboratory sample data to be spatially associated with corresponding field locations, providing a unified view of sample results, field activities, and spatial information within the project. The successful candidate or team will be responsible for both the underlying platform and the user experience. The application must be intuitive for environmental consultants who work with complex data but may not be technical users. Key Responsibilities Product and UI/UX - Design clear, efficient workflows for project setup, field data, EDD review, approvals, reporting, and GIS access - Develop responsive, accessible, and consistent user interfaces - Create dashboards, data tables, filters, search, maps, review queues, forms, and approval screens - Make data-quality errors and regulatory exceedances easy to understand and resolve - Incorporate user feedback from the internal team and pilot clients Full-Stack Development - Design and implement the frontend application and backend services - Build the EDD upload, parsing, transformation, validation, and approval workflow - Implement configurable QA/QC and regulatory rules - Design database relationships among clients, projects, sites, samples, documents, and deliverables - Integrate with ArcGIS for spatial data, coordinates, features, and sample relationships - Support CSV, XLSX, PDF, image, and other project-related files - Implement role-based access, tenant isolation, audit trails, versioning, and approvals - Develop report and deliverable-generation features - Develop a custom data analytics system for sorting and viewing data to look for trends in projects, locations and over time - Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and future enhancements Preferred Experience - Strong full-stack web application development experience - Excellent frontend skills and demonstrated UI/UX judgment - Experience building data-heavy business applications - PostgreSQL database design and optimization - PostGIS or other spatial-data experience - API design and third-party integrations - Workflow, approval, and data-validation systems - GIS or ArcGIS integration - Multi-tenant SaaS architecture and access control - Cloud deployment, testing, version control, and security practices · Experience with environmental, laboratory, regulatory, engineering, or GIS applications is highly desirable.
