The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, validating end-to-end data pipelines, identifying data quality issues, and building automation to improve testing efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end data testing and validation across backend systems, databases, and ETL/data pipelines. Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, data integrity, and backend testing. Validate ETL/ELT processes , including data extraction, transformation, loading, and downstream data accuracy. Create test scenarios and test cases for data pipelines, transformations, integrations, and business rules . Automate repetitive data validation and QA activities using Python . Identify data discrepancies, investigate root causes, and work closely with Data Engineers and Developers to resolve issues. Perform source-to-target validation , data reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, and consistency checks. Support regression testing for changes to data pipelines and backend applications. Validate data across multiple databases/systems and troubleshoot data-related issues. Participate in defect management, root-cause analysis, and overall QA process improvement. Contribute to building reusable data testing and automation frameworks . Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in SQL , including complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and data validation. Strong experience in Data QA / Data Testing / Backend Testing . Solid experience with ETL/ELT testing and data pipeline validation. Hands-on experience with Python automation/scripting for QA or data validation. Experience with source-to-target validation and data reconciliation . Good understanding of databases, data models, and data quality concepts. Experience working with large datasets and troubleshooting data issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Pay: From $55.00 per hour Experience: Data QA / Data Testing / Backend Testing: 8 years (Required) ETL/ELT testing : 6 years (Required) SQL queries : 6 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
