As part of this, they are growing the Data & Technology team and looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to shape and drive our firm-wide Data Governance framework. What you'll do: - Own and manage the organisations Data Governance framework and policies - Lead data governance practices: ownership, stewardship, classification, protection, access controls - Operate and support the data governance committee, influencing senior stakeholders - Drive adoption of governance processes, tools, and SOPs across the business - Implement governance technologies (metadata, data quality, MDM, reference data management) What you bring: - 5+ years experience in data governance / data management (enterprise environment preferred) - Proven track record implementing data governance frameworks in complex organisations - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - Experience with governance tools (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Alation, IBM IGC, etc.) - Knowledge of unstructured data management and AI governance is a plus - Background in Financial Services highly desirable 12-month contract, renewable Originally posted on Himalayas
