Job Description:

As a Data Engineer , you will plan, build, and maintain the data architecture that turns raw data into robust and informative data aligned with business requirements, working closely with the CTO, application, IT, and project teams.

Collecting, Managing, and Transforming Raw Data

• Use a systematic approach to plan, create, and maintain data architecture aligned with business requirements.
• Design or participate in data model design.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into design documents, from data ingestion to data modeling.
• Identify hidden patterns in stored data.
• Transform legacy data into robust and informative data.

Technical Problems / Issues Management

• Resolve technical problems and issues.
• Develop agile documentation and improve current processes.

Self-Development

• Attend relevant training.
• Achieve the minimum score of the Annual Regulatory Seminar.
• Regularly share knowledge and learning outcomes.

Perform other duties that are not explicitly stated but are assigned by the company from time to time.

Key Relationships

• Internal: work with the CTO, Application Team, IT Team, Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Tester to meet business and work requirements.
• External: work with vendors on procuring new solutions.

Job Requirements:

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering (e.g., data modeling, data pipelines, data architecture, ETL).
• Experience with RDBMS, specifically Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience using Cloudera.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Knowledge of data modeling and understanding of different data structures, their benefits, and limitations.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Impala SQL.
• Priority will be given to female candidates.

Conpensation & Benefits:

Salary: Up to 2,000 USD
