Build data models for efficient querying and analysis. Apply OLTP, OLAP, and dimensional modeling concepts. Develop reliable, scalable pipelines using Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Pub/Sub, PySpark, and Dataflow. Work with audience tracking, consumer behavior, and subscriber datasets. Follow best practices for coding, DevOps, documentation, and metadata. Own delivery from development and testing through deployment. Assess architectural and modeling options, including trade-offs and risks. Support continuous improvement of data products and engineering systems. Support cloud migration initiatives and evaluate solution feasibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Support cloud migration initiatives, applying appropriate strategies, best practices, and risk considerations. Work with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure, including services for data storage, processing, and analytics. Support cloud deployment and test automation using CI/CD solutions such as Cloud Build or Concourse. Ensure a high standard of engineering quality while meeting project timelines. Document existing and future solution and data architecture designs to improve knowledge sharing within the team. Lead technical discussions, build consensus, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ideal Candidate: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Understanding of OLTP, OLAP, and data modeling. Experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, Airflow workflows, and dbt transformations. Experience with real-time streaming, including Kafka or Pub/Sub. Experience with PySpark and/or Google Cloud Dataflow. Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD deployment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience leading technical initiatives and improving engineering practices.
