About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Analytics Department. You will be responsible for configuring data flows, building data layers and own database administration.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines between data sources and the data warehouse for the analytical database.
• Design and build database layers (Bronze / Silver / Gold) within the agreed architecture.
• Design reliable data pipelines and maintain data flows between data sources and databases, including MariaDB and ClickHouse.
• Database administration: installation, configuration, access management, backup, and recovery.
• Monitor performance and optimize queries, indexes, and data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy, check loading failures and resolve related issues.
• Prepare data layers for the Power BI data model within the agreed architecture.
• Maintain documentation covering data pipelines, database layers, and database configurations.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or Database Administrator (DBA).

Experience with DBMSs administration (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent), including backups, access permissions, maintenance and monitoring.

Strong SQL: complex queries, window functions, stored procedures, and query optimization.

Experience building ETL processes using Airflow, dbt, NiFi, or equivalent tools.

Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.

Experience with Git and CI/CD.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Yandex Cloud, or equivalent services.

Languages: English (intermediate, technical)
