Data Center Operations Lead (L)
Job Summary The Data Center Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the primary data center and disaster recovery (DR) site, ensuring the availability, security, and reliability of ICT infrastructure. The role leads facility operations, coordinates infrastructure activities, and ensures compliance with operational and physical security standards. Key Responsibilities Lead primary data center and disaster recovery site ICT operations. Oversee server room operations, environmental monitoring, and physical access control. Coordinate installation, movement, and decommissioning of ICT equipment within the data center. Maintain data center equipment inventory, asset records, and rack allocation documentation. Support disaster recovery readiness, testing, and recovery activities. Ensure compliance with data center operational procedures, safety standards, and physical security requirements. Coordinate with infrastructure, network, facilities, and vendor teams to support operational requirements. Prepare operational, inventory, and facility status reports, recommending improvements to enhance data center reliability and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field. Experience in data center facility coordination, server room operations, physical access control, equipment inventory, and disaster recovery (DR) support . Strong knowledge of data center operations, ICT infrastructure, physical security, and environmental monitoring. Experience supporting enterprise data center environments and disaster recovery facilities. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Work Location: In person
