RESPONSIBILITIES Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications Migrate data from legacy systems to modern solutions Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements Optimize new and existing database systems for efficiency and scalability Define and implement data security and backup procedures Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to identify and support business data needs Provide operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS). REQUIREMENTS Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role In-depth understanding of database structure principles Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements Strong knowledge of data mining, data modeling, and segmentation techniques Expertise in modern data architecture frameworks such as Data Vault and Data Mesh Proven experience in data optimization, improving system performance, and ensuring efficient data flow Strong proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and cloud data warehouse platforms (e.g. Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Snowflake) Experience working with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, D3.js, or R Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
