# Data Analytics Manager **Polaroid** · Amsterdam · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Hello. We’re Polaroid. An iconic brand, built by passionate people Polaroid was founded in 1937 by one of the 20th century’s most influential innovators, Edwin Land, whose philosophy was: “Don’t undertake a project unless it is manifestly important and nearly impossible.” In 2008, Polaroid produced its last pack of instant film. But a group of passionate fans refused to let instant photography disappear. What started as The Impossible Project grew into a mission to preserve and reinvent analogue photography for a new generation. More than a decade later, that same startup acquired the Polaroid brand and continues to shape its future today. At Polaroid, we create products and experiences that spark emotion, fuel creativity, and bring people closer together. At the intersection of art and technology, we believe in the power of analogue moments and genuine human connection in an increasingly digital world. We are looking for a strong hands-on analytics leader who combines deep analytical expertise with team leadership. In this role, you will spend a significant portion of time driving and conducting high-impact analyses, while leading a small team of data analysts and data engineers. You will turn complex business, customer, and market data into actionable insights that influence strategic and operational decisions across the organization. You will play a key role in shaping Polaroid’s business by leveraging data to influence decisions. Polaroid is a dynamic and agile environment. To be successful and satisfied in this role, you will need to be comfortable with continuous change, while being able to bring structure and analytical rigor. In return, you get to influence something big and be part of a fun and driven team. Responsibilities Lead and contribute to high-impact analytics projects hands-on, from framing business questions and defining methodologies to performing analysis and presenting recommendations. Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify strategic opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations. Translate broad and complex business challenges into analytical approaches, identifying opportunities, risks and drivers of performance through data. Establish and maintain high standards for analytical rigor, insight generation, visualisation and storytelling. Own the Data analytics roadmap, balancing commer cial and strategic business questions with recurring reporting and ad-hoc business questions. Lead, coach and develop a small team of data analysts and data engineers, setting priorities, ensuring high-quality delivery and fostering a culture of curiosity, ownership and continuous improvement. Develop, maintain and continuously improve analytical frameworks, models, dashboards and reporting solutions that enable data-informed decision making across the organisation. Work closely with engineering on reliable data models, pipelines and scalable solutions. Be an ambassador of Polaroid’s data-driven culture. Skills Strong hands-on analytical experience with the ability to independently conduct complex analyses and translate findings into business recommendations. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and storytelling skills, including confidence working with senior leadership and non-technical audiences. Proactive, curious and comfortable operating with ownership in a lean, fast-moving environment. Experience coaching analytical and technical talent while remaining actively involved in analytical delivery. Strong communicator who can convincingly present results to non-technical audiences. Solid grounding in applied statistics, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time-series analysis, and other inferential techniques Very good skills in SQL and Python, strong experience with BI tools, with preference for Power BI. Our Approach to AI At Polaroid we believe two things can be true at once: technology can help us move forward, while human creativity, craft, judgement and real-world connection matter more than ever. Since our beginning, we've embraced technology to create meaningful human experiences. Today that means exploring new tools, including AI, with curiosity and care, using them where they help us work better and build a stronger business, while staying true to what defines our brand. AI in Our Hiring Process Polaroid may use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, including natural language processing and predictive analytics, to assist in the initial screening of employment applications. These AI/ML tools assess applications against the characteristics and qualifications relevant to the job requisition. These tools are designed to help identify potentially qualified candidates, but they do not make automated hiring decisions. The AI/ML-generated assessments are one of several factors considered in the hiring process. Our human recruiters thoroughly evaluate your skills and qualifications to determine your suitability for the role. If you prefer not to have your application assessed using AI/ML features, you may opt out by contacting us at privacy@polaroid.com or by following the instructions provided during the application process. Opting out will not negatively impact your application, which will be reviewed manually by our team.
