Your Opportunity We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional to help turn complex data into actionable business insights. In this role, you’ll work with financial information, business metrics, and quantitative analysis to identify trends, evaluate performance, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making across FMP. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving business problems, and exploring how data can be used to improve operations and drive growth. You’ll collaborate with different teams, take ownership of analytical projects, and help ensure our data and reporting support the needs of a growing fintech business. Key Responsibilities - Data Analysis & Modelling: Analyze large datasets, financial information, and business metrics to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement. - Financial & Quantitative Analysis: Build and maintain Excel models, conduct quantitative analysis, and support financial and operational planning. - Business Intelligence & Reporting: Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide meaningful insights into business performance. - Data Quality & Integrity: Validate data, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable datasets. - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the efficiency of business processes. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across FMP to understand business needs, investigate challenges, and deliver practical, data-driven recommendations. - Problem-Solving: Break down complex business questions into structured analyses and communicate clear, actionable conclusions. - Continuous Improvement: Explore new tools, technologies, and analytical approaches to improve the way FMP uses data. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. - At least four years of relevant experience in data analysis, financial analysis, business intelligence, quantitative analysis, or a similar role. - Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling, data manipulation, analysis, and reporting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex information and translate it into practical business insights. - Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and take ownership of projects from analysis through to recommendations. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders. - An interest in financial markets, fintech, and the role data plays in business and investment decisions. - A proactive, adaptable mindset and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes. Nice to Have - Experience working with financial market data, financial statements, market metrics, or investment-related datasets. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. - Experience querying databases using SQL or NoSQL. - Exposure to data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Retool. - Experience automating reporting, improving data workflows, or building internal analytical tools.
