Shift : 8 hours/day. 9am - 6pm Note : Should be okay to render weekend shift and weekdays off JOB SUMMARY: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Enhances data collection procedures for building analytical systems Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems Work with management to prioritize business and information needs Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Performs other functions and acts that may be assigned from time to time as the business requires. JOB COMPETENCIES At least 3 years of work experience in the related field is required for this position. A high level of mathematical ability. Problem-solving skills. A methodical and logical approach. Accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to plan work and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a dynamic work environment An understanding of the ethics of gathering and working with data. Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
