Data Analyst

Overview

We’re seeking a Data Analyst to turn complex data into clear, useful insight. You’ll work with colleagues to understand business questions, assess data quality and present findings that support informed decisions.

Duties

• Gather, clean and analyse data from business systems and databases.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Translate stakeholder needs into analytical requirements and communicate findings clearly.
• Support business analysis, project management and activities across the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to database design and improve data processes, documentation and reporting.

Skills

• Strong data analysis and analytical skills, with the ability to explain findings to varied audiences.
• Practical SQL skills and experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI; experience with both is welcome.
• Programming or automation experience in Python, R, VBA or Bash (Unix shell) is useful.
• Knowledge of project management, business analysis, SDLC, database design and Visio is advantageous.

Pay: £35,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
