The housed herd of 2300 Holstein cows are milked 3X a day through a 60 point rotary parlour. This is a hands on roll, working as part of a friendly team including owners, vet, consultant, and other staff members. The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a keen stockman's eye. AI trained preferable. Attention to detail and a tidy approach to working is required. Computer literacy is necessary for record keeping and monitoring performance using Dairycomp and Allflex, which are the farms management programmes. Training can be provided as required.
