# D365 Finance & Operations Techno-Functional Consultant **Perpect Purity LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Title: D365 Finance & Operations Techno-Functional Consultant Reports Directly To: Group IT Director Needed Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience (Cloud) Location Dubai - UAE (On-site preferred) Role Context This role is intended for a mature D365 F&O environment used in a production-critical, multi-entity organization. The consultant will be responsible not only for solution delivery, but also for platform governance, environment stability, and release readiness in alignment with Microsoft One Version and LCS best practices. Candidates with only project-based exposure or limited environment ownership are unlikely to succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities D365 F&O Techno-Functional Ownership Act as a senior Techno-Functional Consultant across core D365 F&O modules: o Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting) o Supply Chain / Operations (Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Production – as applicable) Support multi-company, multi-legal-entity implementations Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable D365 solutions Design and deliver: o Extensions-based X++ customizations o Reports, workflows, batch jobs, and integrations Provide L1/L2/L3 production support with strong root-cause analysis Ensure all changes comply with Microsoft upgrade-safe architecture LCS (Lifecycle Services) & Platform Governance Take ownership of Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) Actively monitor and manage: o Environment health o System diagnostics and performance o Issue search and support cases with Microsoft Maintain LCS assets, methodology, and environment metadata Ensure alignment with Microsoft servicing cadence and One Version updates Coordinate Microsoft support escalations when required Environment Management (On-Prem / Self-Hosted) Manage and support on-premise or self-hosted development environments Strong Knowledge of VSTS environments is a must. Handle: o Environment provisioning and maintenance o Build pipelines and deployable packages o Model/package management Coordinate database refreshes between environments Ensure environment segregation (Dev / Test / UAT / Prod) and stability Work closely with infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams Release, Deployment & Update Management Own deployment and release management for D365 F&O Plan, test, and execute: o Microsoft One Version updates o Hotfixes and regulatory patches o Custom code deployments Perform impact analysis of Microsoft release notes Coordinate UAT, regression testing, and deployment sign-offs Ensure rollback strategies and business continuity during releases Compliance, Controls & Best Practices (Critical in GCC) Ensure ERP processes comply with: o Local regulatory requirements (VAT, ZATCA where applicable, audit controls) o Internal IT governance and change management Enforce: o Code review and version control standards o Segregation of duties o Controlled access to production environments Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks Support audits and management reviews Required Skills & Experience Mandatory (Non-Negotiable) 3+ years hands-on D365 Finance & Operations experience Proven Techno-Functional ownership, not just development or functional consulting Strong experience with: o LCS platform management o On-prem / self-hosted D365 environments o Release and deployment management Strong X++ development and debugging expertise Experience with Azure DevOps (repos, builds, pipelines, releases) Solid understanding of D365 F&O architecture and security framework Preferred (Strong Advantage in UAE/GCC) Experience working with UAE or GCC-based organizations Exposure to VAT/ZATCA, financial controls, and audit-heavy environments Experience in manufacturing, contracting, trading, or multi-subsidiary setups Microsoft certifications in D365 Finance or Supply Chain Experience working alongside external ISVs or Microsoft partners Soft Skills & Professional Expectations (GCC-Specific) High sense of ownership and accountability Comfortable working with senior management and business stakeholders Calm and structured approach during production issues and releases Clear documentation and communication habits Ability to work across cultures and departments What We Are Not Looking For Pure X++ developers with no environment or release exposure Consultants who rely entirely on partners for deployments Candidates without hands-on LCS experience Short-term project-only profiles Application Question(s): How many years of hands-on experience do you have with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations?
