# Cybersecurity Systems Engineer **Vista Gran Verde Holdings Inc.** · Pasig · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 11 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Systems Engineer responsible for the implementation, deployment, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing operations of the client’s cybersecurity platforms and solutions. The role covers the end-to-end technical lifecycle of cybersecurity solutions, from implementation and configuration through operational monitoring, incident response, maintenance, optimization, and transition to steady-state operations. The engineer will work across multiple security technologies. The role will work closely with the Project and Service Delivery Manager, the client’s IT and security teams, and the technology vendor’s technical and support resources to ensure successful implementation, operational stability, timely incident response, effective issue resolution, and continuous improvement of the client’s cybersecurity environment. The position will require rotational onsite coverage at the client’s site to support hands-on technical activities, operational monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and coordination with the client’s IT and security teams. The position will also contribute to knowledge transfer, technical documentation, reporting, security platform optimization, and integration with third-party technologies to support the client’s overall cybersecurity objectives. Key Responsibilities - Implementation & Deployment: o Participate in the end-to-end implementation and deployment of cybersecurity platforms and solutions. o Perform technical preparation, installation, configuration, integration, and initial validation of security solutions. o Coordinate with the Project Manager, client technical teams, and technology vendors to ensure implementation activities are completed according to the approved project plan. o Validate system prerequisites, connectivity, access requirements, policies, configurations, and integration dependencies. o Conduct functional and operational testing following implementation and support the resolution of identified issues. o Assist in migration, onboarding, tuning, and optimization of security platforms as required. o Maintain implementation documentation, configuration records, and technical handover materials. o Support the transition from project implementation to steady-state operations and ensure operational readiness of the client’s IT and security teams. - System Administration and Monitoring: o Administer the Cybersecurity solutions, including Integrated Security Platform (NGAV/EDR/XDR), Network Security (NGFW/IPS), Email Security, Attack Surface Risk Management and Vulnerability Management. o Monitor system performance, security alerts, incidents and respond accordingly. o Ensure the managed solutions are up-to-date with the latest security patches, updates, and threat intelligence feeds. o Conduct daily system health checks to ensure all components are functioning optimally. - Incident Response and Troubleshooting: o Act as the first point of contact for security incidents at the client office, providing real-time support and investigation of threats. o Coordinate with the technology vendor’s SOC, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team for advanced threat detection and remediation. o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform and its integrations with third-party tools. - Technical Support and Maintenance: o Provide technical support to client’s IT team for any queries or issues related to the managed cybersecurity platforms and solutions. o Work closely with Project and Service Manager to manage ticketing, escalate issues when needed, and ensure timely resolution. o Perform routine maintenance and optimize system configurations to ensure performance stability. - Knowledge Transfer and Training: o Participate in scheduled knowledge transfer sessions with client’s IT and security teams, ensuring they are trained on product configuration, administration, and incident response. o Assist in the preparation of training materials and user guides to help client’s staff effectively use the Cybereason platform and 3rd party security tools. - Reporting and Documentation: o Generate and deliver regular security reports and incident summaries to client’s management and IT team, including insights on threats detected and resolved. o Document system configurations, incident response actions, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference. o Ensure compliance with client’s cybersecurity policies and any relevant regulatory standards. o Translate complex technical findings into clear, structured documentation for executive and operational audiences. o Develop and maintain standardized reporting formats for consistency across security operations - Collaboration with Principal and Local Teams: o Work closely with Technical Account Manager (TAM) and support team to provide feedback on system performance and suggest improvements. o Coordinate with technology vendor’s global support teams for advanced issues or escalations that require higher-level expertise. o Assist in the integration and configuration of third-party solutions required for the security suite. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent. - Strong background in cyber and network security - Hands-on experience with threat intelligence, digital risk protection, attack surface management, endpoint security, firewall and email security - Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. - Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies. - Preferably with certification such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+; and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Pay: From Php1,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
