Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and initiatives aimed at protecting our organization from cyber threats. The internship will provide valuable exposure to a wide range of cyber security technologies, processes, and best practices. Responsibilities: - Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts from various sources, including security information and event management (SIEM) systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security tools - Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify and address security weaknesses in our systems and networks - Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Support incident response efforts by assisting in the investigation, containment, and recovery of security incidents and breaches - Help maintain and enhance cyber security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance - Assist in the evaluation and deployment of new security technologies and tools to enhance our defensive capabilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the design and development of new systems, applications, and services - Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and trends by conducting research and participating in relevant training and professional development activities Mandatory Requirements: - Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in computer science, information security, or a related field - Strong interest in cyber security and a desire to learn and develop new skills in the field - Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common cyber security principles - Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, etc., is a plus.
