This role oversees specialized teams in application security engineering, platform security engineering, security architecture, and security & fraud product management . The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep technical expertise, strong strategic insight, and proven ability to execute programs that strengthen the organization’s overall security posture. Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the organization’s security architecture and engineering strategy in alignment with business and security objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership across IT, product, and risk management to embed security into operations and technology initiatives. Act as a thought leader in emerging security technologies and best practices. - Security Architecture : Define and maintain a comprehensive framework. Lead secure‑by‑design principles across systems, applications, and platforms. Provide governance to ensure architectural decisions align with policies and standards. - Application Security Engineering : Oversee secure development practices, including coding, testing, and vulnerability management. Partner with engineering teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC. Implement automated tools to detect and remediate vulnerabilities. - Platform Security Engineering : Direct security measures for infrastructure, cloud platforms, and technology environments. Ensure hardened configurations for servers, networks, and cloud resources. Manage IAM, endpoint protection, and network security tools. - Security & Fraud Product Management : Lead development and delivery of security and fraud prevention solutions. Align product roadmaps with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Team Leadership & Development : Mentor and grow a high‑performing team of architects, engineers, and product managers. Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage budgets, resources, and talent acquisition. - Risk & Compliance Management : Partner with risk, legal, and compliance teams to meet regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Provide executive‑level reporting on risks, initiatives, and achievements. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity (Master’s preferred). - 10+ years in information security, with 5+ years in leadership. - Proven expertise in security architecture, engineering, and product management. - Strong knowledge of frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CSA CCM), secure application development, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevSecOps, CI/CD, and container security. - Experience with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, DAST/SAST tools. Soft Skills : - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to balance strategic vision with hands‑on execution. Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making. - Reduction in vulnerabilities across applications and platforms. - Timely execution of security architecture initiatives. - Increased adoption of secure development practices. - Delivery of security and fraud product features aligned with business needs. - High team engagement and retention.
