Assist in performing basic security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and security testing under guidance from senior team members. Support the implementation and maintenance of security tools, systems, and configurations. Assist in reviewing system logs and investigating basic security alerts. Research and summarize common cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques. Support documentation of security procedures, incidents, and technical reports. Work with the IT/Tech team to improve system security and follow security best practices. Use AI tools to support security research, analysis, documentation, and learning. Requirements · Third- or fourth-year student majoring in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. · Have a basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cyber security fundamentals. · Familiarity with security tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite is a plus. · Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus. · Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 is a plus. · Able to use AI tools to support research, analysis, documentation, and learning. · Good analytical and problem-solving skills. · Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a team. · Able to read and understand English technical documentation.
