CREWING MANAGER

Core Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Selection: Source, interview, and hire qualified officers and ratings through manning agencies, maritime schools, and direct channels.
• Crew Scheduling & Rotations: Coordinate smooth vessel-to-shore and shore-to-vessel crew changes, sign-ons, sign-offs, and relief planning.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all seafarers hold valid certifications and documents in line with STCW, MLC 2006, ISM, flag state rules, and local labor laws (such as UAE MoHRE standards).
• Training & Competency Management: Maintain matrixes for required drills, upskilling, pre-departure briefings, and mandatory certificates.
• Payroll & Administration: Oversee variable payroll elements, sign-off financial settlements, travel logistics, and accommodation.
• Welfare & Grievance Handling: Manage medical cases, repatriation, emergency responses, and crew engagement or grievances.
