The role assesses the borrower’s creditworthiness and repayment capacity, recommends credit decisions within the prescribed lending and deviation authority, and supports business growth while maintaining acceptable credit risk and overall portfolio quality. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial credit assessment of corporate borrowers, including major shareholders and directors, and identify areas requiring further clarification or supporting documentation. Collaborate with the Account Officer in conducting client interviews and ocular inspections to assess the borrower’s business operations and overall risk profile. Review and verify credit information through Loandex, NFIS, and other applicable third-party credit bureaus and databases. Conduct trade checking with the borrower’s customers and suppliers to validate business operations, transaction history, and credit standing. Analyze and validate submitted bank statements and other financial documents to assess the borrower’s financial position and cash flow. Prepare and analyze financial spreadsheets based on audited financial statements (AFS) to evaluate the borrower’s financial performance, debt service capacity, and ability to repay the proposed loan. Evaluate credit risks and provide sound credit recommendations in accordance with established lending policies, credit guidelines, and approval authorities. Balance business opportunities with prudent credit risk management to support portfolio quality and achieve business targets. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant experience in credit evaluation, credit underwriting, and financial analysis for corporate loans. Experience in commercial banking, financing companies, or similar financial institutions, preferably handling corporate accounts and business loans. Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit assessment, cash flow analysis, and borrower risk evaluation. Experience in conducting credit investigation, trade checking, bank statement validation, and client interviews. Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills. High attention to detail and sound judgment in evaluating credit risk. Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
