This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications and have a primary focus on design work, with video and photo content creation also expected. To succeed in this role, applicants must have a passion for design and content creation as well as a drive to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. This position pays $17.40 to $20.00 per hour. This role is initially part-time, with the potential for full-time depending on business needs and individual performance. Job Duties - Work directly with the Director of Marketing & Communications on overall design direction and content curation for the organization’s marketing efforts. - Serve as the organization’s primary graphic designer across all platforms. - Design and produce digital and printed content, including but not limited to: graphics, flyers, motion graphics, in-game slides, and overall branding. - Shoot and edit short-form video content, primarily Reel and TikTok style content, for the organization’s social media accounts. - Photography and video capture at select home games, events, and staged shoots as assigned. - Work closely with the Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator and the Media Relations Manager to deliver content needs across departments. - Assist in all advertising efforts - Other duties as assigned. Requirements - Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator - Working knowledge of InDesign, Lightroom, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, or the ability to learn quickly. Additional photo and video editing tools are a plus - Must submit a portfolio of design work in accordance with the instructions below - Must be proactive and a self-starter - Knowledge of current social and digital media trends and specifications - Ability to interpret and utilize brand standards - Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment - Must be at least 18 years old - Must have strong communication skills - Must be reliable and exhibit a commitment to meeting both the work schedule and job requirements. Applicants must submit 3 or more samples of work with at least 2 being graphics the applicant has designed in Photoshop, Illustrator, or a comparable professional-grade design program. The remaining sample is the applicant’s choice and can be any other file relevant to this position.
