Creative Events Manager

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly creative, design-driven and experienced Creative Events Manager to oversee the development and execution of luxury events, floral styling and creative concepts.

This position requires more than traditional event management. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in design, creative direction and concept development, with the ability to transform client briefs and ideas into visually compelling experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing original concepts, preparing mood boards, managing creative projects, and leading the studio team from initial concept through final execution.

A strong creative and design background is mandatory. Candidates with purely administrative or operational event management experience without hands-on creative design capabilities will not be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Creative Direction & Concept Development

• Develop original creative concepts for luxury events, weddings, private celebrations and corporate functions.
• Translate client briefs into creative themes, design directions and visual experiences.
• Create professional mood boards, colour palettes, design presentations and concept proposals.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of colour theory, composition, textures, materials and visual storytelling.
• Research creative trends, innovative materials and new event styling concepts.
• Present and communicate creative ideas to clients and management.
• Develop floral concepts and styling directions for different events and occasions.
• Understand flower varieties, seasonal availability, combinations and colour coordination.
• Collaborate with floral designers and production teams to ensure the final execution reflects the approved concept.
• Maintain high standards of floral presentation and creative quality.
• Develop creative concepts for luxury events, VIP functions, weddings and brand
• Participate in client meetings, presentations and creative consultations.
• Oversee the daily operations and workflow of the studio.
• Lead, guide and coordinate designers, florists,admin staff.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress and ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain quality standards across all creative deliverables.
• Manage materials, suppliers, inventory and production requirements.
• Ensure the team works efficiently while maintaining creative excellence.
• Understand client expectations and develop suitable creative proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, venues and external service providers.
• Supervise event setup, installation and final presentation.
• Resolve creative and operational challenges during project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in creative events, floral design, event styling, interior design or a similar creative industry.
• Strong design background is mandatory.
• Proven experience developing creative concepts and design presentations.
• Previous experience managing a studio, floral business, event company or design-focused business is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create mood boards, colour palettes, styling concepts and visual proposals.
• Good understanding of floral styling, luxury gifting, event décor and creative production.
• Strong creative portfolio showcasing original work.
• Experience leading creative teams and managing studio operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.
• Experience with luxury brands, VIP clients and high-end events is an advantage.
