The candidate will be responsible for project estimation, cost control, planning, budgeting, progress monitoring, quantity take-off, and preparation of project schedules and reports. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction activities, drawings, BOQ, estimation, project planning, and cost management, with good communication and coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs and rate analysis for construction projects. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work. Prepare project budgets, cost plans and cash-flow forecasts . Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and work programs . Monitor project progress against the approved baseline programme. Track planned vs. actual progress, manpower, materials and project costs . Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management. Identify delays, cost overruns and potential risks and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Subcontractors . Monitor project quantities and variations against the approved BOQ. Assist in preparation and evaluation of variation orders and claims . Review subcontractor quotations and compare rates and commercial proposals. Prepare resource, manpower and material requirements based on project schedules. Monitor project productivity and analyse cost performance. Prepare S-curves, progress measurement, cash-flow reports and forecasting . Update project schedules based on actual site progress. Coordinate with site teams to collect accurate progress and productivity information. Assist in tendering and preparing commercial proposals for new projects. Maintain proper records of project costs, commitments, variations and forecasts. Ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget, schedule and contractual requirements . Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field . Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction costing and planning. Strong experience in building construction, villas, commercial buildings or residential projects . Good understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, specifications and quantities. Experience in project estimation, cost control and planning. Knowledge of construction methods, materials and productivity rates. UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred. Software Skills Primavera P6 – Planning and scheduling Microsoft Excel – Costing, analysis and reporting Microsoft Project – Planning and scheduling AutoCAD – Ability to read and understand drawings Knowledge of ERP / construction management software is an advantage.
