Cost Accountant
POSITION SUMMARY: The Cost Accounting Supervisor manages the cost accounting team in a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate reporting, variance analysis, and compliance. This role supports management with cost insights to improve efficiency and financial performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and develop the cost accounting team. Oversee cost reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory valuation. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements. Provide financial analysis and recommendations for cost efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred). Minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing. Proven supervisory and leadership skills. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
