Cost Accountant
Responsibilities: Calculate standard costs, actual costs, and variances and investigate the reasons for differences Analyze production costs, operational expenses, and inventory valuation to identify cost-saving opportunities Track work-in-progress, finished goods, and raw material inventory values following proper accounting methods Prepare regular cost reports, profit analysis, and inventory valuation summaries for management review Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and cost projections Reconcile cost records with general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies Review inventory movements, wastage, and usage reports to minimize losses and improve efficiency Maintain organized and secure financial records, supporting documents, and audit trails. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related field. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, methods, and standards Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and organizational skills Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
