Cost Accountant
Required Experience 2–5 years of experience in accounting and cost accounting. Previous experience in an industrial company or manufacturing environment is preferred. Practical experience in handling production data and manufacturing costs , rather than financial accounting experience only. Required Technical Skills and Experience Good understanding of Manufacturing Cost and its components, including Direct Costs and Indirect Costs . Ability to prepare and analyze Standard Cost and Actual Cost , understand the differences between them, and analyze the reasons for cost variances. Ability to calculate and analyze Product Cost and understand how costs are allocated throughout the different stages of production. Experience in preparing and reviewing Cost Statements and analyzing the different components of product cost. Ability to calculate and analyze Production Cost and Cost of Sales , and understand their relationship with production activities and inventory movements. Good knowledge of Cost Variance Analysis , including identifying and analyzing differences between standard and actual costs. Ability to review and understand BOM (Bill of Materials) and Routing , and assess their impact on product cost. Good understanding of WIP (Work in Process) and its calculation, valuation, and follow-up. Ability to prepare periodic Costing and Production Reports , analyze the results, and highlight significant findings and variances to management. Very good command of Microsoft Excel , particularly for data analysis, costing calculations, and reporting. Previous experience with ERP systems , preferably SAP , especially in Production and Costing transactions , is preferred Work Location: In person
