About the role: Contract Type – Specified purpose Maternity Cover Contract Working Hours –Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9 am - 5:30 pm, occasional out of hours. Non-full time applicants may be considered if they have significant relevant experience. Location – Dublin 7, Smithfield / Hybrid Remote (3 Days in Office Dublin Simon community is ending homelessness for people every single day. Corporate partnerships income is a key driver in achieving this, enabling Dublin Simon Community to deliver services that rebuild lives for people experiencing, or in danger of, homelessness. About the Person: The successful candidate will be an experienced and engaged fundraiser or business development leader with the ability to meet ambitious income targets, identify major partnership opportunities, and grow corporate fundraising through effective pipeline management. They will be confident developing new business directly, while also leading and motivating a small team to open doors, progress relationships and convert opportunities into long-term support. The successful candidate will be a creative, commercially minded relationship builder who can move quickly, manage multiple prospects and projects at the same time, and maximise new fundraising revenue streams. Key responsibilities: Lead a team of corporate fundraisers to deliver on ambitious Q4 income targets. Build and deliver a proactive business development and pipeline strategy to grow income and engagement with existing and potential corporate partners. Lead the Corporate Partnerships team to realise ambitious targets in donor acquisition, development and engagement, ensuring appropriate processes are embedded and followed. Personally identify, open and progress high-value corporate relationships, acting as an effective influencer and motivator to maximise partnership value. Develop relationships across the organisation to identify and support the development of opportunities and touchpoints that will enhance the success of corporate income generation and other opportunities. Manage a busy portfolio of corporate relationships and projects at different stages of development, maintaining pace, clarity and momentum across competing priorities. Ensure best practice and governance across all areas of corporate partnership operations. Effectively manage the strategic and operational activities of the Corporate Partnerships team, supporting a fast-paced, focused approach to prospecting, relationship development and conversion through regular team engagement, meetings and management. Deploy effective and ongoing business development strategies across the Corporate Partnerships team, ensuring a strong focus on new opportunities. Manage and maximise income for high-profile seasonal campaigns like House of Cards and corporate relationship fundraisers like WOW for Simon, including the planning and delivery of partner-facing events where required. Essential Criteria: A minimum of five years’ experience in fundraising, B2B sales, business development or corporate partnership development. Proven track record of high-value acquisition, major partnership development, and leading small teams to meet or exceed ambitious targets. Strong networking, influencing and business development skills, with a focus on opening opportunities, progressing relationships and achieving positive outcomes from interactions. The ability to present to large groups and be the public face of Corporate Fundraising at a range of events; experience supporting or managing events is desirable. Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and deploy strategic and tactical plans. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work quickly, efficiently and to tight deadlines while managing multiple relationships and projects at the same time. An excellent track record in relationship management and the ability to build impactful relationships with donors, corporate prospects and strategic partners. Non-profit experience is welcome but not essential where candidates can demonstrate strong sales, business development or commercial partnership experience.
