What Will You Do? The Corporate Paralegal will provide legal, contract, and administrative support for UnifyCX's U.S. and international operations. This role is designed for a highly organized professional who can manage a high volume of contracts and legal documentation, support internal stakeholders, conduct basic legal research, and coordinate matters requiring review by internal or outside counsel. The role will work closely with Sales, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Security, Compliance, and executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Contract & Legal Document Support Support the preparation, review, routing, execution, and maintenance of customer and vendor agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, BAAs, amendments, order forms, and related documents. Review agreements against approved templates, checklists, and playbooks and identify items requiring attorney review or escalation. Maintain contract records, signatures, renewal dates, obligations, and other key information in the company's contract management system or tracking tools. Coordinate contract approvals between Sales, Operations, Finance, Security, Compliance, and Legal. Assist with gathering information and documentation needed for contract negotiations and legal review. Help ensure executed agreements are properly stored and accessible to appropriate stakeholders. Legal & Business Support Provide administrative and research support on routine legal and business matters under the direction of counsel or company leadership. Conduct basic legal and regulatory research and summarize findings for review by counsel. Assist with the preparation and review of business communications, policies, procedures, and other documents. Help identify potential legal or compliance issues and ensure appropriate matters are escalated to counsel. Support legal projects and special initiatives as assigned. Privacy, Data Security & Compliance Support Assist with the review and tracking of customer and vendor privacy, data-processing, and security requirements. Maintain documentation related to privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and other contractual compliance requirements. Coordinate with Compliance, Security, IT, and Operations to gather information requested for customer audits, questionnaires, and contractual requirements. Assist with documentation related to data-processing agreements, security addenda, and other privacy-related contracts. Escalate questions involving significant legal interpretation or risk to counsel or the appropriate subject-matter expert. Employment & Workforce Support Provide administrative and document support to Human Resources on routine employment-related matters. Assist with maintaining and organizing employment agreements, contractor agreements, separation documents, policies, and related records. Support the preparation and organization of documentation for employee relations matters, investigations, accommodations, leave, and separations as directed by HR or counsel. Coordinate with internal and external counsel on employment matters requiring specialized legal support. Maintain appropriate confidentiality when handling employee and personnel information. Claims, Litigation & Corporate Support Assist with organizing and maintaining records related to claims, disputes, subpoenas, demand letters, legal holds, and other legal matters. Coordinate document collection and information requests for internal and external counsel. Assist with maintaining corporate records, resolutions, consents, entity information, and routine filings. Track legal notices, regulatory correspondence, deadlines, and required follow-up actions. Support outside counsel with document collection, scheduling, research, and administrative coordination. Legal Operations & Process Management Maintain legal templates, forms, playbooks, checklists, matter trackers, and other legal resources. Maintain an organized system for contracts, legal matters, corporate records, and other confidential documentation. Track contract and legal matter deadlines, renewals, approvals, and outstanding action items. Assist with coordinating outside counsel and tracking matter status and invoices. Identify opportunities to improve legal processes, documentation, and contract workflows. Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives related to contract processes and legal procedures. Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned. Who Are You? Qualified candidates will have the following experience and qualifications: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or paralegal certificate preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 2-5 years of experience in a paralegal, legal operations, contracts administration, or related role. Experience supporting commercial contracts, legal documentation, or corporate legal functions. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage a high volume of documents, deadlines, and competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive business and employee information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 and document management or contract management systems. Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate an issue. Additional Information Work Arrangement: Remote within the United States; occasional travel may be required.
