This vital role involves providing expert nursing guidance, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting clinical operations across various corporate settings. As a key liaison between clinical teams and management, you will drive quality improvement initiatives, facilitate staff education, and promote best practices in patient care. Duties Develop and implement clinical policies aligned with industry standards, long-term care regulations, and state healthcare laws to ensure regulatory compliance across all facilities. Provide expert consultation on patient care practices, medical documentation, and medical records management to support high-quality service delivery. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clinical operations, utilizing data analysis skills to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions. Lead educational programs for nursing staff and management on topics such as HIPAA privacy rules, electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and acute care procedures. Oversee the management of electronic health records (EHR), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to privacy laws such as HIPAA. Collaborate with hospital administrators and long-term care facility leaders to ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations while promoting best practices in nursing leadership and administrative supervision. Support quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data, tracking key performance indicators, and implementing strategies to enhance patient safety and care outcomes. Requirements Proven experience in hospital or long-term care settings with a strong understanding of acute care processes and long-term care regulations. Demonstrated nursing leadership experience with skills in administrative clinical supervision and management. Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA and state-specific laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data analysis, reporting, and documentation purposes. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently while maintaining compliance with privacy standards. Strong understanding of medical documentation practices, medical records management, and regulatory requirements for healthcare providers. Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff, present findings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to interpret complex data sets to inform decision-making processes aimed at quality improvement initiatives.
