Corporate Finance Executive / Associate
Job Descriptions Assist in the execution of permitted corporate finance advisory assignments, including listed-company corporate transactions, Takeovers Code transactions, independent financial advisory assignments, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investment advisory, including pre-IPO investment transactions Conduct company, industry and market research, financial analysis, valuation analysis and due diligence Prepare and review transaction documents, presentations, financial analyses, working papers, internal approval papers and other corporate finance materials Liaise and coordinate with clients, legal advisers, accountants, valuers and other professional parties Support project management, regulatory research, transaction record keeping and internal compliance processes Assist senior team members in preparing client-pitch materials and identifying business opportunities Perform other permitted corporate finance advisory work and ad hoc assignments as required Job Specifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Administration or a related discipline At least 2 years’ relevant experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, audit, valuation or listed-company transactions Experience in Hong Kong IPOs, equity fundraising advisory, Listing Rules matters, Takeovers Code transactions or mergers and acquisitions is preferred SFC Type 6 licensed representative status is required HKSI LE Papers 1 and 16, or an applicable exemption, are required. HKSI LE Paper 17, or an applicable exemption, is required for candidates expected to undertake Takeovers Code work Strong financial analysis, research, drafting and project-management skills Detail-oriented, commercially minded and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua Immediate availability is preferred.
