Candidates should reside within a 50-minute commute of the Temple area to support on-site collaboration and business needs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Review, monitor, and balance daily and weekly accounting reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and make necessary corrections and adjustments. - Process expense invoices accurately and efficiently. - Prepare invoice batches for auditing and resolve discrepancies as needed. - Scan, index, and maintain accounting documentation and records. - Collaborate with internal departments and external contacts to research and resolve issues. - Communicate financial information and results to management as requested. - Ensure accounting activities are completed in compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). - Support departmental operations through cross-training and knowledge sharing. - Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as assigned. MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or GED required. - Two or more years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative office environment. - Experience working with Microsoft Excel. - Familiarity with financial systems and computer-based reporting tools.
