Key Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of cookies, Maamoul, Arabic pastries, and traditional sweets according to standard recipes. Prepare and handle dough, fillings, batters, creams, nuts, dates, and other ingredients. Produce consistent quantities while maintaining the required quality, taste, texture, and presentation. Shape, decorate, and finish cookies and Arabic pastries according to established standards. Ensure proper portioning, weighing, baking temperatures, and cooking times. Prepare products for daily display, orders, events, and special occasions. Monitor the freshness and quality of raw materials and finished products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry production area, equipment, and utensils. Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements at all times. Properly store ingredients and finished products according to food safety requirements. Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients. Assist with developing or introducing new cookie and Arabic pastry varieties when required. Coordinate with the kitchen/pastry team to ensure production requirements are met. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a Cookie Maker, Arabic Pastry Maker, Pastry Cook, or similar role. Can work at night shift Good knowledge of traditional Arabic sweets and pastries, particularly Maamoul and date/nut-filled products. Knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, fillings, shaping, and decoration. Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to maintain consistent quality and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Good attention to detail and cleanliness. Team player with a positive and professional attitude. Work Location: In person
