COO (Blockchain-based financial technology) (Contract- 6-12 months) in KL

Our Client is an established technology solutions provider specialising in digital technology, AI, Blockchain, Web3 and Cybersecurity. They are seeking an experienced Contract Chief Operating Officer (COO) to structure and streamline their Cryptocurrency and iGaming operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on establishing SOPs, standardising workflows, strengthening operational controls and building efficient systems that can be managed by the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and improve overall business efficiency.
• Develop SOPs, policies, workflows, KPIs and performance standards.
• Manage operational budgets, cost control, reporting and resource allocation.
• Oversee payment operations, digital wallets, fund flows and external payment partners.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI and system integration.
• Coordinate teams, manage operational risks and support business expansion.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant operations management or leadership experience.
• Proven experience in Cryptocurrency, Crypto Exchange, Crypto Casino or iGaming operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in operational setup, SOP development and process optimisation.
• Good understanding of digital wallets, USDT, deposits, withdrawals, payment gateways and fund-flow management.
• Experience working with payment providers, banking partners or financial service providers.
• Strong leadership, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and deliver measurable results within a defined contract period.
• Willing to travel when required.

Position Details

• Location: Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur
• Contract: 6–12 months
• Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Salary: RM20K to RM30K per month, negotiable based on experience
• Benefits: Allowances and performance bonus subject to agreement; medical benefits and statutory contributions subject to the applicable employment arrangement.

Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
