As a GL Controller, you will oversee general ledger accounting, prepare accurate financial statements, maintain compliance with accounting policies, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings. Responsibilities also include managing account reconciliations, maintaining the WIP schedule, streamlining financial reporting processes, and collaborating with various departments to support financial operations. This role is on-site and requires a proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail. Duties Manage and oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing processes. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis. Prepare and review financial reports, including statements, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory filings. Conduct cash management activities including cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis. Implement and monitor internal controls related to financial reporting and operational processes. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification a plus. Proven experience in general ledger accounting with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial analysis tools Experience with eCMS and or CGC Construction Management software with green screen knowledge a plus Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills Prior experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is strongly preferred Strong interpersonal communication skills and a team-oriented approach to collaborative projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Bee Cave, TX 78738 (Required) Work Location: In person
