Contract General Manager – Integrated Facilities Management

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contract General Manager to lead the overall performance and integrated delivery of a large-scale facilities management contract/portfolio.

The role will oversee estates and property management, hard and soft facilities management, maintenance, asset and lifecycle management, general services, security services, commercial performance, client relationships, people leadership, QHSE, risk, and continuous improvement .

The successful candidate will be accountable for service delivery against contractual SLAs and KPIs , while maintaining strong operational, financial, technical, and client-management performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the assigned contract/portfolio.
• Ensure delivery against contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Act as the senior point of contact for the client and manage key stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and service partners.
• Oversee estates, property, asset, lifecycle, and facilities-management activities.
• Manage hard services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, and other technical building systems.
• Oversee soft services including cleaning, waste management, pest control, hygiene, and workplace-support services.
• Hold accountability for contract P&L, budgets, forecasts, cost control, and profitability .
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and external service providers.
• Lead a large, diverse, multi-disciplinary workforce across operational, technical, and support functions.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE, regulatory, contractual, risk, emergency preparedness, and information-security requirements.
• Drive service improvement, innovation, change management, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present operational, financial, and management reports to senior stakeholders.
• Support contract growth, variations, and profitability improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline .
• Professional FM or relevant technical certification is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Facilities Management / Integrated Services , with substantial management responsibility.
• Minimum 5 years managing multi-disciplinary managers and teams .
• Proven experience managing large-scale facilities or complex service contracts .
• Strong understanding of hard services, soft services, asset management, estates/property operations, and security interfaces .
• Strong commercial and financial-management capability, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability management .
• Strong experience in subcontractor and vendor management.
• Good knowledge of UAE statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Strong client relationship, stakeholder-management, negotiation, communication, and people-leadership skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-site, customer-facing environment.
• Strong decision-making, resilience, adaptability, and strategic-thinking capability.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in large-scale Integrated Facilities Management, Total Facilities Management, Critical Facilities, Government / Institutional Facilities, Commercial Real Estate, Large Estates, or Multi-Site Operations will be highly relevant.
