In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work - Assess the clarity, coherence, and accuracy of written content to ensure it meets project standards. - Conduct detailed writing evaluations, providing constructive feedback for continual improvement. - Identify and annotate AI-generated content, focusing on detecting “AI slop” or low-quality, artificial text elements. - Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, and tone, maintaining high-level English proficiency throughout. - Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists, offering actionable editorial insights. - Contribute written analyses and recommendations to enhance the overall effectiveness of AI model training datasets. - Complete assignments within defined project timelines, ensuring consistency and reliability in deliverables. Preferred Qualifications - Proven experience in writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents. - Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field; or prior experience teaching English. - Native-level proficiency in English, with exceptional attention to detail in both written and verbal communication. - Demonstrated ability to discern nuances between human and AI-generated text. - Prior involvement in projects requiring content assessments, editorial reviews, or quality assurance. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote engagement. - Availability in the Australia / Asia Pacific time zones for optimal project coverage.
