# Content Research & Audience Insights Executive **Meclusions** · Mumbai District, Maharashtra · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Content Intelligence | Audience Research | Market Research | Content Risk Assessment Company: Meclusions Studio Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Experience: Fresher to 3 Years Candidates: Mumbai / Mumbai Metropolitan Region ONLY ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Meclusions Studio is developing a new digital streaming and original-content platform focused on Sanatana, Hinduism, Bharat's culture, traditions, history, spirituality and lesser-explored Indian stories. Hindustan ki Desi Kahaniyaan — High Production Quality ke tadke ke saath. We are looking for a Content Research & Audience Insights Executive who can help our creative and management team make better-informed decisions before investing time and money into a content idea. This is an important role. Before we spend any amount of money on a show, documentary, animation series or other production, we want someone to ask: - Who will watch this? - Why will they watch it? - Is there genuine audience interest? - Who are the competing videos/shows? - Is the subject already saturated? - Is there a better angle? - Can this become a series? - Can it attract subscribers or advertisers? - What are the risks? - And what evidence supports the decision? You will help the team separate interesting ideas from commercially and strategically viable content opportunities. _______________________________________________ YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITY Your primary responsibility will be to research, analyse and report before production decisions are made. You will NOT be expected to guarantee that a show will become profitable. Instead, you will provide the best available evidence, audience signals, competition analysis and risk assessment so that the Creative Head / Management can make an informed decision. BEFORE WE INVEST IN A PROJECT, YOU MAY BE ASKED TO STUDY: - Audience demand - Search interest - YouTube viewing patterns - Existing OTT / digital content - Competitor channels - Successful and unsuccessful formats - Audience comments and reactions - Social-media discussions - Content saturation - Potential audience size - Regional interest - Age-group relevance - Language opportunities - Episode / series potential - Monetisation possibilities - Sponsorship possibilities - Production complexity - Potential controversy or factual-risk areas - Availability of credible research material - Whether the subject can sustain multiple episodes _______________________________________________ CONTENT OPPORTUNITY RESEARCH You will help discover potential subjects for: - Sanatana / Hinduism documentaries - Temple and pilgrimage programming - Historical stories - Indian civilisation and heritage - Spirituality and philosophy - Hindu festivals and traditions - Lesser-known personalities - Saints, scholars and thinkers - Ancient Indian knowledge systems - Regional traditions - Interviews - Yatra / travel formats - Animated stories - Children's and youth-oriented content - AI-assisted episodes - Explainer series - Short-form digital content - Original factual entertainment You may also be asked: “Find 20 subjects we could potentially develop into shows.” Your job will be to research those subjects and identify which ones deserve deeper development. _______________________________________________ AUDIENCE INSIGHTS You will study what audiences are actually interested in—not simply what we personally believe they will like. Research may include: - YouTube search and viewing behaviour - Google Trends - Social-media conversations - Comments and audience questions - Existing successful channels - OTT programming - Competitor content - Audience demographics where reliable data is available - Regional and language demand - Frequently requested topics - Recurring audience problems/questions - Emerging content trends For example: If we are considering: “A 10-episode series about a particular Hindu tradition” you may be asked to determine: - Is there existing audience interest? - How much content already exists? - Which videos performed well? - What did audiences respond to? - What is missing? - What could make our version different? - Should it be documentary, interview, animation, travel, explainer or another format? - Could the idea support 10 episodes? - Is there enough evidence to justify developing a pilot? _______________________________________________ CONTENT RISK ASSESSMENT One of the most important parts of this position is identifying risk before money is spent. You should be comfortable telling the Creative Head: “This is an interesting subject, but our research does not currently provide enough evidence to justify a large production.” You may identify risks such as: - Very small apparent audience - Extremely saturated subject - Strong existing competition - Weak search/viewing signals - Limited episode potential - Expensive production requirements - Difficulty obtaining credible information - Factual uncertainty - Dependence on one personality/location - Potential copyright/IP issues - Potential historical or cultural inaccuracies - Difficulty finding reliable experts - Weak monetisation opportunities - Audience interest limited to a very small region - Subject appearing attractive internally but showing weak external demand Your job is not to reject ideas automatically. Your job is to identify the evidence, opportunities and risks before we commit significant resources. _______________________________________________ FINDING PROFITABLE CONTENT OPPORTUNITIES You will also actively search for opportunities. For promising subjects, research: Audience Who could watch it? Competition Who is already producing similar content? Differentiation What can we do differently? Format Documentary? Yatra? Interview? Animation? Explainer? Series? Short-form? Scale Can we produce it economically? Monetisation Could the content potentially support: - OTT subscriptions - Advertising - Sponsorship - Brand partnerships - YouTube distribution - Licensing - Events - Educational use - Other commercial opportunities You must clearly distinguish between evidence of audience interest and your own hypothesis about monetisation. _______________________________________________ COMPETITOR & CONTENT ANALYSIS You will regularly study: - YouTube channels - OTT platforms - Digital publishers - Religious/cultural channels - Documentary channels - Animation channels - Podcast/interview channels - Instagram/Facebook content - Emerging creators You may prepare simple reports such as: Subject : Temple Yatra Series Existing competition : 15 significant channels identified Audience signals : Strong / Moderate / Weak — with evidence Content gap : ___ Possible differentiation : ___ Estimated production difficulty : Low / Medium / High Potential formats : ___ Key risks : ___ Recommendation to management : Proceed to pilot research / investigate further / hold for now The final production decision will remain with management. _______________________________________________ RESEARCH REPORTING You should be able to turn research into short, understandable decision documents. We do not need complicated corporate presentations for everything. Sometimes one useful page containing: Opportunity → Evidence → Competition → Audience → Risk → Cost Considerations → Suggested Next Step may be more valuable than a 30-page report. _______________________________________________ AI WILL BE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THIS ROLE We are interested in candidates who understand how AI can make research faster and more economical. You may use AI for: - Initial research organisation - Summarising large amounts of information - Comparing content topics - Extracting recurring audience questions - Categorising comments - Generating research questions - Building content databases - Creating research briefs - Analysing large datasets - Preparing first drafts of reports - Finding patterns across multiple sources However: AI-generated information must NOT automatically be treated as fact.
