Lead HVAC Technical Specialist & Content Advisor Company: TOSOT Comfort Location: Long Island City Job Type: Part-Time | Advisory Pay: $500-$580/Week About TOSOT Comfort Are you an experienced HVAC tech who knows heat pump systems inside and out? We are looking for a true trade expert to be the technical brain and on-camera face of our hvac video content. You won't be writing corporate policy or selling products—you’ll be making sure our technical guides, videos, troubleshooting steps, and product teardowns are 100% accurate, field-tested, and respected by real technicians. What You’ll Do Be the Technical Authority: Review our videos, guides, and manuals to make sure all refrigeration, electrical, and installation specs are spot-on. On-Camera Expert: Appear in short technical videos, installation walkthroughs, and product teardowns showing proper tool setup, inverter diagnostics, and best practices. Consult on Product & Field Issues: Partner with our NYC tech support team to turn common field mistakes into quick, helpful video tips for other contractors. Keep it Real: Call out corporate fluff or impractical advice so everything TOSOT puts out speaks directly tech-to-tech. Who We’re Looking For Real Field Experience: 3+ years installing, servicing, and diagnosing inverter heat pumps, minisplits, and controls. Comfort on Camera / Communicating: You don't need acting experience—just the confidence to explain technical concepts simply and demonstrate installation steps clearly. Trade Pride: You take pride in doing clean work, using proper tools (micron gauges, digital manifolds, torque wrenches), and doing things right the first time. License/Certifications: EPA Section 608 Universal required.
