At SuperMarketing , we help local supermarkets stand out on TikTok and Instagram through engaging Reels, creative challenges, product discoveries, interviews, and fun community-focused content. We're looking for on-call Social Media Content Creators who can bring energy, personality, and fresh ideas to our supermarket clients throughout Long Island and NYC. This isn't a behind-the-scenes filming job. We want someone who enjoys being ON CAMERA! If you love talking to people, following social media trends, and creating videos that grab attention, this could be a great opportunity. Schedule & Availability — Please Read Required Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM. - Most filming assignments take place during these hours. - Additional opportunities may be available on other weekdays or weekends. - This is an on-call position with a flexible, assignment-based schedule. - Weekly assignments and hours are not guaranteed. - Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to client locations. What You'll Be Doing - Be the Face of the Content: Appear in TikToks, Instagram Reels, and promotional videos. - Make Grocery Shopping Entertaining: Highlight food, deals, new products, and unique supermarket finds. - Connect With People: Interview employees, interact with shoppers, and capture authentic reactions. - Bring Creative Ideas: Develop attention-grabbing hooks, challenges, taste tests, and trending video concepts. - Film on Location: Visit supermarkets throughout NYC and Long Island to capture high-quality smartphone video. - Work With Our Creative Team: Follow content plans, participate in brainstorming, and occasionally edit using CapCut or similar apps. You're a Great Fit If You... - Have a fun, outgoing personality and feel natural on camera. - Enjoy starting conversations with people you've never met. - Understand what makes someone stop scrolling on TikTok or Instagram. - Can turn a simple product or everyday moment into an interesting video. - Are comfortable improvising and thinking creatively during shoots. - Have experience filming vertical videos with a smartphone. - Take direction well while bringing your own ideas and personality. - Are dependable, punctual, professional, and responsive. - Can independently travel between client locations. Bonus Points If You: - Speak both English and Spanish. - Have created content for restaurants, supermarkets, retail brands, or local businesses. - Have experience with CapCut or short-form video editing. - Understand different cultures and know how to connect with diverse NYC audiences. - Have an existing TikTok or Instagram portfolio showing your personality and creativity.
