Consultant/Senior Consultant, Business Consulting (Business Analyst)

Job Description

• Advise clients on business process improvement and re-engineering, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplicated effort and control gaps.
• Document current-state (“as-is”) processes through walkthroughs, interviews and workshops with process owners.
• Design future-state (“to-be”) processes that are simpler, more efficient and better controlled.
• Prepare clear process flow charts, swim lane diagrams and supporting process narratives.
• Gather and document business requirements, and translate them into practical recommendations, including system and automation opportunities.
• Conduct on-site reviews and workshops, including overseas travel where applicable.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as operations, finance and IT) to implement process changes and build controls into redesigned processes
• Manage projects and client relationships effectively.
• Broaden personal development through exposure to diverse services and industries.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Accountancy, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Preferred 1 year of experience in business analysis, process improvement, consulting, or internal/external audit within an international professional services firm or a reputable multinational company.
• Hands-on experience in process mapping.
• Good understanding of end-to-end business cycles (such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and record-to-report) and the internal controls within them.
• Exposure to ERP systems or process automation tools is advantageous.
• Industry experience in financial services, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, NPO or F&B is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex processes into clear, logical steps.
• Confident in facilitating workshops and interviewing stakeholders at different levels.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong project and client management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally.
• Innovative, resourceful and inquisitive mindset with strong organisational skills.
• Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments.
