The successful candidate will provide expert care to critically ill patients, lead intensive care management, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. Oversee the care of patients in the intensive care unit, including those requiring advanced life support. Manage respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, ARDS, and other critical care emergencies. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary ICU rounds and treatment planning. Oversee mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and other advanced organ-support therapies. Perform or supervise relevant critical care procedures, where qualified. Monitor patient progress, manage complications, and coordinate transitions of care. Collaborate with emergency medicine, surgery, anesthesia, and other specialist teams. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols. Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice. Requirements Qualifications Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, or a relevant specialty. Valid DHA eligibility or license , or eligibility to obtain one. Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at Consultant level. Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, advanced life support, and ICU management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
