The Role As a QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality management system on our construction projects. You’ll inspect and verify that all works and materials comply with drawings, specifications, codes, and client requirements, and work with site teams to get things right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.
• Inspect construction works at each stage, including formwork, reinforcement, concrete, masonry, finishes, and MEP installations.
• Review and verify material submittals, and inspect materials on delivery to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Coordinate and witness testing such as concrete cube tests, soil compaction tests, and pressure tests, and review lab results.
• Raise and close out Inspection Requests (IRs) with the consultant or client.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), follow up on root cause, and verify corrective actions.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
• Maintain complete and organized quality records and documentation.
• Train site staff and subcontractors on quality requirements and procedures.
• Support project close-out, including snagging, test certificates, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• [X]+ years of QA/QC experience in [commercial / residential / infrastructure / industrial] construction.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ACI, ASTM, BS, or [local standards].
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience preparing ITPs, method statements, and NCRs.
• Attention to detail and strong reporting skills.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or similar certification is an advantage.
