Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications. Manage project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and quality. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure clarity and compliance with all regulations and client requirements. Oversee construction estimating processes to accurately forecast costs and manage budgets effectively using HeavyBid or comparable tools. Ensure construction regulatory compliance by adhering to local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases. Coordinate procurement activities, contracts, change orders, and scope adjustments while maintaining meticulous documentation for transparency. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for daily reporting, tracking progress, and managing project documentation. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety practices, quality standards, and progress; address issues promptly to minimize delays. Lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to communicate updates, resolve issues, and align expectations. Requirements Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a strong focus on ground up large-scale developments or tenant improvement backgrounds. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools like Procore, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in Construction management software is essential. Demonstrated ability in construction estimating, cost management, and budget oversight using industry-standard tools such as HeavyBid. Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), blueprint reading, contracts administration, and regulatory compliance. Hands-on experience with construction site management including safety protocols, quality assurance, and team leadership. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for managing teams in a construction management role; capable of leading meetings and presenting updates clearly. Ability to manage complex infrastructure projects from start to finish with a focus on delivering results efficiently.
