Construction Project Manager
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Manage teams across multiple disciplines, including subcontractors, engineers, and vendors, fostering clear communication and collaboration. Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on-site. Monitor project budgets through effective cost management practices using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools. Ensure regulatory compliance by adhering to local construction laws, permits, and environmental guidelines. Maintain detailed project documentation including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and safety records. Facilitate project scheduling coordination to meet deadlines while managing risks proactively. Lead project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. Skills Extensive experience with construction site management in commercial or infrastructure projects. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent tools. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies. Skilled in blueprint reading, construction plans review, and technical documentation interpretation. Familiarity with construction regulations and safety standards governing large-scale projects. Ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining a focus on project goals. Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Experience with construction scheduling techniques including schedule development and updates. Knowledge of civil engineering software such as Civil 3D for infrastructure design coordination. Demonstrated leadership in managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects from start to finish.
