We’re looking for a Project Manager who excels at executing plans, maintaining consistency, and delivering projects that meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations. Role Overview The Project Manager serves as the operational lead for each project—coordinating field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and collaborating with office staff. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they run on schedule, within budget, and aligned with SilverBullet’s quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and confident navigating both residential and commercial environments. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects—from pre-construction planning to final walkthroughs. Scheduling & Coordination: Organize subcontractors, vendors, and in-house labor; maintain clear timelines and adjust schedules proactively. Budget & Change Order Awareness: Track project costs and communicate any changes or needs to leadership for approval. Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to verify progress, craftsmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to plans. Client Communication: Provide routine project updates to clients and address questions within your scope, escalating any changes or concerns that may affect project direction to leadership. Documentation & Reporting: Use Google Workspace and Slack to maintain daily logs, progress documentation, and project updates. Permitting & Compliance: Coordinate with the office to track permit submissions and support communication with municipalities (Naperville, Schaumburg, and surrounding areas). Team & Subcontractor Leadership: Hold subs accountable for timelines and quality; support field crews with clear direction, project preparation, and coordination needs. Subcontractor Sourcing: Identify and recommend qualified subcontractors for bidding or backup options when needed. Qualifications Experience: 3–5 years of construction project management (residential and/or commercial). Technical Skills: Blueprint reading and structural understanding Ability to verify measurements, placements, and material requirements General knowledge of building codes or willingness to stay current with code requirements Comfortable using Google Workspace and Slack for communication and documentation Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication High organizational discipline Ability to manage multiple active projects Reliability Requirements: Valid driver’s license Reliable vehicle for daily job-site travel, primarily within the SW Suburbs of Chicago & surrounding areas Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Veteran applicants encouraged to apply Benefits Competitive salary Mileage reimbursement Opportunities for advancement within a fast-growing company Supportive, professional team environment How to Apply If you bring steady leadership and a commitment to quality project execution, we encourage you to apply.
