Our work includes older and historic homes, some more than 100 years old, where careful planning, attention to detail, and precise execution are essential. Restore Native Plants is a nonprofit organization committed to environmental restoration and responsible stewardship. This position is well suited for someone who can organize projects, lead a crew, accurately estimate time and costs, and take ownership of delivering quality work on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities Develop accurate project time and cost estimates and deliver projects within those estimates Coordinate residential construction and renovation projects from planning through completion Lead and organize crew members to keep projects on schedule and within budget Manage project schedules, materials, costs, and scope Carry out project direction accurately and keep each project within its agreed scope Monitor progress and maintain quality standards throughout each project Identify potential issues early and communicate them clearly and concisely Take ownership of project execution and results What We’re Looking For Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to estimate project timelines and costs accurately Ability to coordinate projects, crews, materials, and job-site activities Clear and concise communication Sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively within defined project scopes, timelines, and budgets Initiative, reliability, accountability, and willingness to learn Compensation & Schedule Compensation: $20–$30 per hour Schedule: Part-time Work Location: Oakland, New Jersey Compensation reflects RNP’s nonprofit resources while offering the opportunity to apply your skills to work that directly supports environmental restoration.
